Matthew 7:7-11; NIV
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.
“Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!

John 15:7-8 ( NIV ) If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you.  This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.

Daniel 9:3;20-22; NIV
So I turned to the Lord God and pleaded with him in prayer and petition, in fasting, and in sackcloth and ashes.

While I was speaking and praying, confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel and making my request to the LORD my God for his holy hill— while I was still in prayer, Gabriel, the man I had seen in the earlier vision, came to me in swift flight about the time of the evening sacrifice. He instructed me and said to me, “Daniel, I have now come to give you insight and understanding. As soon as you began to pray, an answer was given, which I have come to tell you, for you are highly esteemed.

Hebrews 4:16 ( NIV ) Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

Jeremiah 33:3 ( NIV ) ‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’ 

Isaiah 65:24 ( NIV ) Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear.

Isaiah 58:9 (NIV) Then you will call, and the LORD will answer; you will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I.

Psalms 91:15 ( NIV ) He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble,I will deliver him and honor him.

Psalms 86:6-7 ( NIV ) Hear my prayer, O LORD; listen to my cry for mercy. In the day of my trouble I will call to you, for you will answer me.
