We are born into this world; as man or woman; as black, white, Indian, Hispanic, Jew or gentile; as rich or poor; as different from one another in a thousand other ways.
The Apostle Paul reminds us that, once we accept Christ and are born again, our old lives are gone, we are crucified with Christ, buried with him, and raised to new life. We are one body in Christ. The whole of our Christian experience here on earth is contained in our understanding of this extremely simple and incredibly complex fact.
Galatians 2:20 ( NIV ) I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Woman Rise Up
Man and woman; as different from one another as though we come from different planets, and as dependent upon one another as though we come from the same rib.
But it is women who have suffered throughout the ages, women who still in many parts of the world, have little value more than a piece of livestock, women who still work for less pay and recognition than men, and women to whom I address these notes.
This is a call to action, a call to arms, not in the physical world, not in the sense of developing a hard skin and telling men where to get off, it is a call to arms within ourselves.
The things I am about the share with you are seldom said, at least I have not heard them said. God talked to me about these spiritual truths at some length and I ask you to prayerfully read and consider, then drop me a note with your impression.
Women love playing princess. Young girls, like my granddaughters, love putting on the sparkly skirts and pretend tiaras and prancing around the house in those plastic shoes. As we get older, this gives way to beauty pageants, cheerleading skirts, and big girl spike heels. Women preen, men look, it is the way of the world.
We must stop playing princess in spiritual things. We are not daughters of the King. Find me one scripture that tell us we are daughters. In fact, Paul tells us in Galatians, we are all sons.
What is the difference?
The daughter of the king is:
Princess
Adored
Cherished
Protected
Closeted
Limited
The daughter of the king enjoys the king’s benevolence, his protection, and his indulgence. She lives a restricted life, one where major decisions are made for her and she serves as a pawn to the benefit of the kingdom.
Daughter of the King is not the heir-the son.
the one to step up to the throne
The one to put on the armor and take the sword
The one to lead the charge against the enemy
We are heirs of God--joint heirs with Christ
We inherit everything!!!
Do not allow others to cost you your inheritence.
Take the stand to be all God wants for you--no matter what others think.
Galatians 3:26-29 ( NIV ) You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
Blessings
