Just Faith LifeLiving Daily by Faith in ChristMy name is Kay Montgomery. I am a mother and a grandmother who began this walk with Christ five decades ago during revival in a small Southern Baptist church. I decided then to live my life by the principles found in the word of God. When Bob and I married in 1973, we began our life together by committing to the principles of a life of faith. Through tremendous trials, repeated stumbling, and many mistakes, we have tried to be faithful to that commitment. Those of you who know us, watched when we struggled and when we fell, but also, when we saw great victory. It has been an exciting and fulfilling road to travel. I have worked as a medical technologist, a corrections officer, a retail clerk, and a short term missionary. I have raised two children and served in my local church's children's ministry. From those experiences, I have a varied background from which to draw in sharing my personal struggles with the life of faith. My prayer is that you, the reader, will find my comments encouraging to your own life. These posts are dedicated to my two children and my four grandchildren in the hopes they will remember, evaluate, and incorporate these things into their daily lives. The faith walk is not a single experience, but rather, a series of experiences that accumulate layer by layer to form the bedrock upon which the substance of a well-lived life of faith is built. It is both an impossibly difficult and an incredibly rewarding way to live. I pray you will be inspired to seek the truth of these things and to deem them worthy of the effort and sacrifice it takes to walk them out. I pray for you that, through these notes, you will be encouraged to find the highest fulfillment, peace, and joy it is possible to know in this life.BlessingsKay
